This is a dual-purpose checker that tests both quartz watches and button batteries.
For quartz watches:
Simply place the watch on the Quartz Impulse Checker to test it.
For button batteries:
Place the battery on the battery checking plate with the positive (+) side facing down. Press the button to test, and the battery level lights will indicate the voltage:
- Yellow light: Needs replacement, voltage is weak.
- 1st green light: Low, 1.05 volts.
- 2nd green light: Good, 1.55 volts.
- 3rd green light: Good, 3.00 volts.
