This double-ended pin vise features a fluted hollow nickel-plated handle and two knurled round heads. It comes equipped with two steel 4-lip chucks.
This double-ended pin vise is a useful tool for precise manual work. Swiss-made by Horotec, it is designed to be held like a pen for hand carving and engraving on glass, stone, or wood using a diamond ball burr. It can be used for bead reaming with a diamond point burr, holding cup burrs for rounding wire ends, stipple engraving on glass, or creating fine hairlines or fur with a diamond point burr.
Ideal for securely holding various items such as drill bits, burrs, cutting broaches, taps, wires, screws, and winding stems.
Each end features a collet. Unscrew it to loosen the teeth inside, insert your drill bit, screw, reamer, or burr, and then tighten it again. One collet holds tools up to 1.40 mm, while the other holds tools between 1.30 mm and 2.80 mm.
These pin vices are perfect when you do not want to use an electric drill or are unable to use one due to health and safety concerns. They are compact and effective for precise manual work.
