This is a reliable Q.C. checker for watch movement manufacturers and watch assembly factories. It tests not only quartz watches but also button batteries.
Steps to use the Quartz Impulse Checker:
1. Push the switch upward.
2. Place the quartz watch or movement on the "Watch Dial Position" for testing. One of the following results will occur:
(A) No sound and no green light:
- Either the battery or electronic parts are defective.
- Solution: Check or replace the battery and retest. If there is still no response, check or replace the electronic parts or the entire movement.
(B) If there is a sound and the green light flashes, but the watch hands do not move:
- The battery and electronic parts are in good condition, but the mechanical parts are defective.
- Solution: Check or replace mechanical parts and retest. If there is still no response, replace the entire movement.
(C) If there is sound, the green light flashes, and the watch hands move:
- The quartz watch or movement is in good condition.
Steps to use the Button Battery Checker:
1. Push the switch downward.
2. Place the battery on the "Battery Checking Plate Position" for testing, ensuring the positive (+) side is downward.
3. Press down the plastic button; the battery level lights will indicate the voltage:
- Yellow light = Replace battery; voltage is low.
- 1st green light = Low, 1.05 volts.
- 2nd green light = Good, 1.55 volts.
- 3rd green light = Good, 3.00 volts.
Battery type: LR03/AAA size, 1.5V x 2 (not included).
